Stanford SWE aims to aid the career and academic development of the Stanford engineering community.
SWE provides members with professional development opportunities throughout the course of the year such as weekly Speaker Series meetings with members of industry as well as larger events like Evening with Industry and the Opportunity Job Fair.

Weekly lunch meetings comprise our core programming at SWE. Every week, we bring in a Silicon Valley company representative to speak to us about their industry and experiences, their work, and products that they have helped to engineer. If you would like to see a particular company at our meetings, please contact our External Affairs Team!
Annual corporate dinner at the Faculty Club for all School of Engineering students. SWE invites approximately 10 companies to attend EWI (with a 3-to-8 company rep to student ratio). Students eat dinner with our corporate partners and learn more about life in industry and opportunities with these companies. If you have further questions, please contact our Banquet Team.
OJF is the largest STEM focused career fair at Stanford. Held over the last weekend in January, it is hosted by the four engineering diversity societies in conjunction with the School of Engineering Dean’s Office. SWE recruits members to volunteer at OJF and gain professional networking experience with companies. SWE also holds four seats on the planning committee. If you would like to volunteer to help SWE at OJF, please contact our OJF Planning Team
